A new order on the organization of the university from December 15, 2021 was issued. Key points: - The university is transitioning from a blended learning format to a full-time format. The upcoming exam session will also be in full-time mode. - Masking, thermometry and other anti-coronavirus measures will remain in place on campus. - In the event that an illness is identified in a study group, only students without immune protection are transferred to quarantine, the rest will be able to continue their studies in a full-time format. - Our COVID-19 operations headquarters continues to work, and appeals are being accepted at covid@bmstu.ru. "This document is a natural progression of events. We initially understood and openly said that the blended learning system we were introducing was a temporary measure related to the current epidemic situation. That is why the previous order contained the phrase "until a special order". Our students participated in the preparation of the order - Student Council, Student Union, the guys were the first to read the draft document. Students sent their comments, which were taken into account in the final form of the order. It is important to note that the main thing students have asked for is that we issue the order as quickly as possible, then everyone who is not yet in Moscow will be able to comfortably return to the dormitories over the weekend. So we decided that the new regime will be introduced not just next week, but from Wednesday, so that students will feel comfortable. It should be noted that even now almost 80% of students, choosing between distance and full-time mode of study, prefer full-time. The situation in Moscow has also stabilized. We understand that the measures taken earlier have caused some difficulties in the lives of our students and staff. I want to thank our staff for their patience and understanding. I hope that in the future we will be able to continue our full-time work without having to introduce additional measures," Acting Rector Mikhail Gordin commented.
